As a fast-growing public policy think tank, the nonprofit’s funding was entirely dependent on the CEO. As the organization grew, the CEO needed to spend more time on strategic initiatives while the development team had to become more effective.
Solution
AC Fitzgerald performed a fundraising audit of development operations, personnel, and systems and recommended that the CEO restructure the development operation. ACF’s counsel highlighted the importance of donor contact and stewardship and coached our client in building stronger relationships with donors. ACF also pinpointed the strategic opportunities with a staffing plan focused on data management, operations, and major gifts in order to grow a stable pipeline of fundraising revenue.
